Wall Street West - San Francisco
March in support of the NYC Wall Street Occupation - September 30 2011
About 500 people marched through SF financial district before and during rush hour on Thursday September 30, 2011, stopping at several banks/investment companies along the way.
One affinity group was arrested occupying a Chase Bank lobby.
The crowd included a lot of college students - I talked to a UCB organizer who said she thought there were about 70-80 UC students. The Pagan Cluster accounted for a dozen or so, including a spirited drum corps.
Hopefully this leads to more actions in the near future - stay tuned!
